Applications open for Católica's volunteering programme

Applications are now open for the VIDA Project - Volunteering at Católica 2023/2024, aimed at the entire UCP community on the Sede campus who want to volunteer on a regular or one-off basis.

The 2023/2024 edition already has 15 confirmed partner organisations: Apoio à Vida, Associação Santa Teresa, Comunidade Vida e Paz, CASA - Centro de Apoio aos Sem-Abrigo, Serve The City, Pedalar sem Idade, Clínica Psiquiátrica de S. José, Movimento Claro, União Zoófila, among others.

The volunteering activities available are as diverse as the partner institutions - study support, food support, support for people with reduced mobility, driving trishaws (adapted bicycles), taking part in fundraising campaigns, socialising with dogs and cats, activities related to the circular economy or skills volunteering.

Organised in partnership between the Social Responsibility Office (GRS) and the UCP Chaplaincy, the VIDA Project is a commitment to building a more supportive and inclusive world and provides comprehensive support for volunteers, from registration to training and integration into the different institutions.
