Applications open for the 2nd edition of the Advanced Course in European Studies

The Instituto de Estudos Políticos (IEP), in partnership with the Instituto Universitário Militar (IUM), is organising the second edition of the Advanced Course in European Studies. The 2nd edition will take place between November 8 and December 6, 2021, in an online format.

The Advanced Course in European Studies (CAEE) aims to:

  • To train participants in the institutional architecture of the European Union;
  • To promote in-depth understanding of the EU's internal decision-making processes, notably in the framework of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP);
  • Analyse the Security challenges faced by the EU in the relationship with other geographical spaces and actors.

Applications for the 2nd edition of the Course are open until November 2, 2021 and should be sent to the following email address: caee@ium.pt.
