Applications are now open for the CADOS/Amélia de Mello Foundation Master's and Doctoral Scholarships

Universidade Católica Portuguesa through the Católica Doctoral School  (CADOS), is opening of applications for the allocation of 8 Research Scholarships for the academic year 2025/26 — 4 for Master's programs and 4 for Doctoral programs.

These scholarships, funded by the Amélia de Mello Foundation, aim to support students on a full-time basis in the areas of Arts, Culture and Humanities; Social Sciences (including Law, Management, Economics, Psychology, Education, Communication, and Political Science); Religion and Theology; Health and Biotechnology.

Applications are open from July 14 to September 4, through the form available at cados.ucp.pt.

The scholarships are intended for students entering the 1st year of their respective study cycles and include an annual subsidy with the possibility of renewal for up to 2 years (Master's) and 4 years (Doctorate).

This competition reinforces Católica's commitment to academic excellence and the promotion of scientific research in Portugal.
