10th Anniversary of the Encyclical Laudato si' | Isabel Capeloa Gil gives masterclass at PUC-Rio on integral ecology and hope

The President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC), Isabel Capeloa Gil, was the guest speaker at the Masterclass organised by the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), at the invitation of Fr Anderson Pedroso, President of PUC-Rio. The event took place on 15 May in the RDC Auditorium, as part of the Amazonizar PUC-Rio initiative.

Entitled "Praise of Hope. A cultural look at integral ecology in a time of disruption", the session was part of the activities of the Amazonizar project, which combines science, technology and university extension at the service of human dignity, environmental preservation, social justice and care for our common home.

It is worth noting that on May 24th marks the 10th anniversary of the Encyclical Laudato Si'.
