Open Lecture | "Democracy and Trans-Atlantic Relations"

On February 18, at 2 p.m., the Faculdade de Ciências Humanas will have the presence of Kristin Kane - Chargé d'Affaires of the American Embassy in Lisbon - for an International Relations subject open lecture on "Democracy and Trans-Atlantic Relations".
Kristin Kane has been Chargé d'Affaires of the American Embassy in Lisbon since January 2021 and is a member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-Counselor. She was formerly the Political Counselor at U.S. Embassy, Brasilia. Previously, directed an African Affairs office in Paris. In Washington, D.C., Kristin worked on policy, press, and congressional issues in the bureau of International Organizations.
As part of the "Intersecting Philosophy, Politics and Economics" cycle, this session, open to the entire academic community, is especially aimed at students in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and Communication and Cultural Sciences undergraduate programs.
The open class will take place in person, in Room Exposições at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
