Open class "Clinical Reasoning in Nursing"

 

The Escola de Enfermagem (Lisbon) of the Instituto de Ciências da Saúde of Universidade Católica Portuguesa promotes an open class on May 7 between 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., within the scope of the Curricular Unit Epistemology of Nursing of the Undergraduate Degree in Nursing of the Escola de Enfermagem of ICS/UCP, dedicated to the topic "Clinical Reasoning in Nursing​", delivered by Professor Sheila Vasconcelos Morais (Universidade Federal de Pernambuco) with moderation by Professor Zaida Charepe.

Target audience: Graduate and post-graduate students of Nursing at ICS-UCP (PhD, Master's and Postgraduate studies); other Nurses and Health Professionals; Professionals or Students from other areas with an interest in this topic.

Framework: The approach to the diagnostic or therapeutic clinical reasoning process is promoted in students. The strategies aimed at its operationalisation contribute to the development of safe and effective decision-making in nursing care.

This open class aims to address the development of clinical reasoning and the respective assessment tools.
