Monday, September 21, 2020 - 12:00
Online
In May 2020, the 7 Laudato si' GOALS (similarly, in agreement and in addition to the 17 ODS - Sustainable Development Goals) were launched, which aim to lead us to a new understanding of development and true prosperity on Earth and all its life and diversity.
How can our University contribute to these goals?
On September 21 (12:00-13:00), in an online conversation moderated by the journalist Paulo Rocha of Agência Ecclesia, Prof. Joana Silva and Dr. Filipa Pires de Almeida of the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, Prof. António Cortês and Master Joana Arnaut of the Escola de Lisboa of the Faculdade de Direito and Prof. Ana Oliveira of the Faculdade de Ciências Humanas will share, in their area of knowledge, how they live the Laudato si'.
It will also be presented, by Prof. Ricardo Reis, the project of the Platforma Catolica - Laudato si' which will map and measure current and new projects of the contribution of the Academic Community, and which fit in the 7 Objectives Laudato si' and the Objectives of Sustainable Development.
We will also have with us, from the Vatican, Dr. Tebaldo Vinciguerra, of the Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development, who will introduce us to the 7 Objectives Laudato si' and the dream of the Church to contribute to a new world that renews Man, the Earth and is a place for all to live in happiness.
