KNOWLEDGE | The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Portuguese Society: Evaluation of Multiple Indicators

CATÓLICA_LISBON will hold, on April 23rd at 17h00, another edition of the Knowledge - Digital Conferences initiative. This conference will address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Portuguese society.

The Observatory of the Portuguese Society of Catholics-Lisbon carried out in the last days of March one of its regular studies, this time focused on the analysis of several indicators related to the health crisis that we are all experiencing. The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of the current situation on multiple indicators such as Happiness, Well-Being, Consumer Behaviour and Economic Impact, as well as to evaluate multiple indicators related to what the Portuguese expect to happen in the coming months. The results suggest many significant differences according to the current economic conditions of citizens, as well as to their current labour status, casting some light on the different realities experienced by the Portuguese.
