COMUNICAR 2025 follows on from the two previous editions held at MEO's Picoas Forum and will take place this year at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with the central theme “Complex Communication Needs and Assistive Technologies”, on 28 november, at 9h00.
In this edition, we want to give a “VOICE” not only to all those with Complex Communication Needs who use Alternative and Augmentative Communication, but also to those who support them in education, in clinical settings, in society, and in the family.
The event is closely linked to the Advanced Training in Assistive Technologies for Inclusion (FATAI) program at the School of Postgraduate and Advanced Training of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing at UCP, which since 2019 has trained around 170 professionals from various fields, including Special Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Psychology.
