Being a doctor in the USA

On April 27 at 2 pm (Lisbon time), Católica Medical School will host the event “Being a Doctor in the USA”. 

Francisco Alexandrino will carry out a general framework of the practice of medicine in the USA from the perspective of an IMG (International Medical Graduate), addressing the following topics: 

- Organization of specialties 

- Reasons to pursue a career in the US 

- Necessary steps for certification and respective timings 

- Difficulties and financial cost, comparison with Portugal 

- Highly importance of having good grades in the steps and research experience
