7th CAtólica REsearch Meeting: Research Security and Integrity

Under the current social, technological and political conditions, science, research and academia in general are exposed to new challenges. The advancement of technology puts issues of research integrity into a new dimension in which ethics and human values are confronted with fast, omnipresent and unprecedented artificial and digital approaches. At the same time, the geopolitical situation asks for a new evaluation of international cooperation, in which research security has become an increasing concern.
Researchers at Católica will discuss these challenges on occasion of their VII CARE Meeting under the title “Research Security and Integrity” taking place at the Campus in Lisbon on July 14th, 2025.
At the end of the meeting there will be space for discussion, where everyone is invited to to draw together perspectives on research and the challenges it faces.
