Europe in the Fair Ecological Transition

Will Europe lead an ecological conversion that benefits people, families and communities who feel excluded from technological and societal changes in both rural and urban environments?

How can we encourage and participate in the dialogue shaping European public policies in the area of ecological conversion?

These are the questions that will guide the communication of the Auxiliary Bishop of Lille, Antoine Hérouard, Chairman of the Commission for Social Affairs of the Episcopal Conferences of the European Union (COMECE), at a time of rapid change reflected in the way we work (digitalization, adaptation of professions and new industrialization) and in the way we live in society, with a high physical distance. COMECE seeks to make a positive contribution to this dialogue by involving and mobilising various actors, such as academia, in the definition of fair European public policies and in the service of the common good.
