6th Conference on Innovation, Sustainability and Regeneration
28-29 October 2026, Porto, Portugal
The INSURE.Hub, a collaboration between Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) through Católica Porto Business School and the Faculty of Biotechnology, and Planetiers New Generation, is hosting the 6th International Conference on Innovation, Sustainability, and Regeneration. This event will take place on the UCP Porto campus on October 28-29, 2026.
The conference aims to unite students, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss various topics related to innovation, sustainability, and regeneration. Unique in its multidisciplinary and systemic approach, the INSURE.Hub Conference bridges the gap between academia and the business world.
Participants can expect a dynamic and stimulating environment centered on sustainability. The conference will feature keynote sessions, parallel sessions, round tables, company use cases and stands, as well as poster displays. Specialized workshops and training sessions will be available, requiring pre-registration. Additionally, there will be competitions and prizes for the best abstract/paper presentations and company case studies.
Call for abstracts
We invite submissions of high-quality and original research or case studies on the following topics, among others:
- Innovation and business transformation
- Circular economy
- Bioeconomy
- Leadership and governance for sustainability
- Sustainable business strategy
- Social entrepreneurship and responsible business
- Sustainability literacy and education
- Sustainable investment and financing
- Challenges due to the impact of climate change
- Climate risk management
- Laws and regulations related to sustainability
- Arts and sustainability
- AI and analytics for sustainability
Authors are requested to electronically submit an abstract in English, not exceeding 500 words, which clearly defines the objectives, methodology, findings, and significance of the investigation or study. For abstract submission, please follow the link available on our webpage and comply with the deadline of July 25, 2026.
Authors will need to decide whether they want to apply for the best presentation award. The two best presentations, evaluated based on scientific quality, innovation, and performance, will be awarded a prize of 1,000 euros each.
All abstract submissions will be considered for a Poster presentation, unless you opt-out.
