The Católica Learning Innovation Lab (CLIL) will hold the webinar “Practices that Transform” on October 16, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, as part of the UCP Pedagogical Innovation Award – 2025.
The online session aims to promote and highlight pedagogical innovation at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), showcasing innovative teaching practices and creating a space for collective reflection on the role of pedagogy in transforming higher education.
"At a time when higher education faces increasingly complex challenges, valuing and encouraging innovative pedagogical practices is a way to recognize the power of teaching to inspire, motivate, and transform. By giving visibility to these initiatives, this event contributes to consolidating a culture in which every faculty member feels encouraged to experiment, reflect, and innovate, thereby reinforcing UCP’s commitment to high-quality, creative, and future-oriented teaching," says Rita Tavares de Sousa, Education and Faculty Professional Development Specialist at CLIL.
The event is open to the entire UCP academic community and provides an opportunity to share experiences, foster dialogue, and strengthen the institution’s commitment to quality and innovation in teaching and learning.
