Universidade Católica has reinforced its commitment to pedagogical innovation in Higher Education with the fourth edition of the Pedagogical Workshops Cycle. A total of 30 workshops were held, 19 of which resulted from strategic collaborations with the Transform4Europe Alliance, the INOV-NORTE consortium, and the UCP2 Mental Health project, highlighting the collaborative, inter-institutional, and international dimension of the initiative.
The initiative, promoted by the Católica Learning Innovation Lab (CLIL), brought together lecturers and researchers from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, as well as from the institutions that are part of the INOV-NORTE consortium. Its aim was to promote pedagogical innovation by providing resources, tools, and methodological approaches to support the teaching and learning process in Higher Education.
The workshops, which took place from 19 to 30 January, focused on exploring innovative teaching and learning methodologies and student-centred approaches, with a direct impact on teaching practice and the design of curricular units.
This 4th Pedagogical Workshops Cycle at UCP reaffirmed CLIL’s commitment to pedagogical quality, innovation in Higher Education, and the continuous professional development of the teaching staff, contributing to the consolidation of a culture of collaborative learning and continuous improvement at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
