Wayne Visser, who will serve as Director of Católica Centre for Thriving Futures, is the Galp Chair and Professor of Practice in Regenerative Business, Innovation and Technology at Católica Porto Business School, as well as a Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. He is the author of over 40 books, including the international bestseller Thriving: The Breakthrough Movement to Regenerate Nature, Society and the Economy. He was formerly Director of Sustainability Services for KPMG and Strategy Analyst for Capgemini.

Pedro Miguel Freitas is a Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, specializing in law and technology, criminal law, and criminal procedure. He currently serves as a member of the European Commission’s Expert Group on EU Criminal Policy and is a researcher at the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law (CEID).
He coordinates both an undergraduate course and a postgraduate program in Law and Technology. In addition, he is responsible for Internationalization Affairs at the Porto School of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Pedro Miguel Rodrigues is a Professor and Vice-Dean for Lifelong Learning and Partnerships at the Faculty of Biotechnology, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (ESB-UCP). He is also an integrated Research Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF-UCP) member. He is responsible for courses in signal and image processing, computing programming, artificial intelligence & machine learning areas. He specializes in AI-driven tools for data science and analysis, focusing on decision support in agri-food and biological/biomedical systems.
