Professor
Diana Soares is an Invited Assistant Professor and member of the Directorate for 'Quality of Teaching' of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal.
She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences, in the specialty of Educational Psychology, from the University of Minho in 2015, and is a Researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH), also developing research activities at the Research Centre for Higher Education Policies (CIPES). She currently coordinates the Católica Learning Innovation Lab, a laboratory for Pedagogical Innovation.
She participates in several research projects in the areas of pedagogical innovation, competency-based education, curriculum management, teacher professional development and Higher Education policies.
She is the author and co-author of several national and international publications, participating as a speaker and trainer in congresses, conferences and training actions. She is also a consultant in the area of Education within the scope of the Support Service for the Improvement of Education (SAME FEP-UCP).

Armanda Gonçalves is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP). She has a degree in Psychology (University of Minho) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology (University of Minho - "Hidden narratives in the therapeutic encounter - what therapists and clients and clients do not reveal in psychotherapy"). Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology by the Order of Portuguese Psychologists.
Coordinates the Self-Assessment and Quality Office of the Regional Centre of Braga of UCP since 2015 and in 2020 took over the coordination of the 1st Cycle in Psychology.
Researcher integrated in the Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH) at FFCS, in the Research Line "Cognition, Intersubjectivity and Human Development". She has developed research on new forms of family (reconstituted families, adoptive families and families in divorce situations) and on the system of promotion and protection of children and young people at risk. Recent research interests include the development of the psychology professional, bereavement, self-inflicted injuries.

Cristina Palmeirão is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Católica Porto. She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto in 2008.

Education Technician
Ana Machado has a degree in Education, a Master's degree in Pedagogical Supervision (Universidade Aberta) and is a PhD student in Educational Sciences (FPCEUP). Her professional career has always been linked to the educational context, namely as a trainer and pedagogical coordinator. She was part of two research grants - "Research in Education for Sustainable Development with children and young people" (FCUP) and "Research in digital inclusion in adult education" within the scope of her PhD (FPCEUP).
She is also the author of several publications in international journals, book chapters and has participated in several national and international meetings. She is also an Evaluator (Student) of the External Evaluation Commissions (CAE) at the Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education (Lisbon).
Currently, she is part of the project "Católica In! Innovate to Include | Skills 4 Post-COVID - Competences for the future in Higher Education", at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH) of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal.

Marta Martins has a degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology (2005-2010) from the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Catholic University of Portugal of Braga.
Throughout her career, she has carried out, in particular, psychological assessment and monitoring of children, adolescents and young people, vocational guidance, consultancy actions, group dynamics, training, implementation of programmes to promote various skills, from pre-school to higher education.
She has been involved in research projects, scientific papers, published in national and international journals of Psychology. Currently, she is part of the project "Católica In! Inês holds a master's degree in Psychological Intervention, Education and Human Development (FPCEUP). She completed her curricular internship at Colégio Primeiros Passos (supervised dynamisation of Psychology workshops; activities to promote phonological awareness; individual support in the classroom context). Her first post-internship professional activity, as a psychologist, took place at Centro Qualifica Comenius (vocational and professional guidance for young people and adults) and, more recently, at Doca Clinic (individual vocational guidance consultations for young people). She is also a trainer at Skills Gym (CARE Programme - Centre for High School Performance: skills development and vocational guidance). Currently, she is part of the project "Católica In! Isaac has a degree in Multimedia Communication Technologies and Communication Sciences (University of Maia). He has a Master's degree in Communication Sciences (University of Porto) and is a PhD candidate in Communication Sciences (University of Minho). His thesis is dedicated to the theme "Paradigms of Human-Computer Communication and Interface Design: a case study between the mobile application Bem-Me-Ker and the Users of IPO-Porto". He is a researcher at the Centre for Communication and Society Studies (CECS) of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho. He has a scientific interest in Digital Communication, Technological Innovation and Digital Transition, eHealth and Semiotics. With solid professional experience in her area of training, her last professional experience took place at the School of Economics and Management (University of Minho) in the Communication and Image Office. Currently, she is part of the project "Católica In! Innovate to Include | Skills 4 Post-COVID - Competences for the future in Higher Education", at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH) of the Faculty of Education and Psychology.
Sociologist
Marta Martins holds a PhD in sociology (2020) from the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho.
She has been involved in national and international funded research projects. Between 2015 and 2020, she was a researcher in a project funded by the European Research Council (ref. 648608) and in 2022 she developed her postdoctoral research in the FCT project (ref. PTDC/COM-OUT/0243/2021) about young people, the news and their digital citizenship.
Her research is part of an innovative work in that it brings together the reflection and dialogue of media narratives and forensic experts on the use of DNA technologies in the investigation of transnational criminal cases. The empirical innovation has helped to fill a scientific gap in Portugal, as there are no similar studies in the context of the European Union. Recently, she has also been working on young people's relationship with the media.
Recent publications include the book: Transnational Criminal Cases. Media Narratives on the Use of DNA Technologies (Humus, 2021) and the article in the journal Humanities & Social Sciences Communications (2021) entitled: "News media representation on EU immigration before Brexit: The 'Euro-Ripper' case".
She is currently part of the project "Católica In! Innovate to Include | Skills 4 Post-COVID - Competences for the future in Higher Education", at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH) of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal.

Marisa Simões Carvalho holds a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (1999), a Master's degree in School Psychology from the Institute of Education and Psychology of the University of Minho (2007) and a PhD in Vocational Psychology from the School of Psychology of the University of Minho (2013). She is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal.

Ângela Sá Azevedo is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP).
She holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, since 2006. At the same institution she completed a Master's Degree in Child Development and Education (Early Intervention), in 1998. She has a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, since 1991.
She has a vast professional experience in the field of Clinical Psychology and Educational Psychology, having in the latter area of Psychology assumed functions of coordination of a Psychopedagogical Office dedicated to intervention, for 25 years, in areas such as Career Development, Inclusive Education, Self-regulation and Learning Motivation.
She was awarded the Specialities in Educational Psychology (2016) and Clinical and Health Psychology (2019), as well as the Advanced Specialities in Special Educational Needs (2016) and Vocational Psychology and Career Development (2016) by the College of Specialities of the Portuguese Psychologists' Association.
She coordinates the Master's Degree in Educational Psychology since 2008 at FFCS - UCP and is a member of the Coordination Committee of the Degree in Psychology, since 2020.She has been a member of the Scientific Council of FFCS-UCP since 2008.

Anabela Santos Rodrigues has a degree in Psychology from the University of Minho and a PhD in Psychology (Work and Organisational Psychology) from the University of Porto. Having already collaborated, as a teacher/researcher, in several higher education institutions, in the public and private domain, and taught curricular units such as Organisational Behaviour, Group Dynamics and Research and Research Methods, she is currently an Invited Assistant Professor, part-time, at the Catholic University of Portugal , Braga Pole.
At this university she has been teaching Curricular Units in the 1st and 2nd cycles of studies, namely Work and Quality of Life (Optional of the 3rd Year), Research Seminar in Psychology (Shared Curricular Unit of the 3rd Year), Leadership and Teamwork (Master in Work and Organisational Psychology) and Advanced Methodologies in Research (Shared Curricular Unit of the Master in Work and Organisational Psychology). She also collaborates, in terms of teaching, in projects / protocols of the university with offers in the field of postgraduate and continuing training, as well as in the orientation of internships and master's theses, having been arguing several master's tests in different university contexts. Maria Luísa da Mota Teixeira Ribeiro is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP). She holds a degree and a master's degree in Psychology from the University of Porto, and a PhD in Educational Sciences - Educational Psychology, from the University of Minho.
She is responsible for the CApS Project - Catholic Service Learning: Innovation and Social Responsibility, which is being developed at UCP (Braga, Lisbon, Porto and Viseu) and which aims to stimulate pedagogical innovation and social responsibility in higher education. It has promoted several experiences using Service Learning, a teaching methodology that combines academic learning with service to the community so that students are formed, personally and professionally, from working with real community needs. In this methodology, the active participation of students and community members and reflection on lived experience are valued.
She is responsible for the Community Service programme of the Psychology degree, which was recognised in 2010 by the OECD - Institutional Management in Higher Education as an initiative of teaching quality and pedagogical innovation.
She is Chair of the Pedagogical Council of the FEP.

Alexandra Manuela Paiva Carneiro is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal and an integrated researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development of the Catholic University of Portugal . Currently, she is also coordinator of the University Clinic of Psychology (CUP). She holds a PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Minho, with the work entitled Emotional and Behavioral Problems in Preschoolers: Risk Factors and Assessment Issues.
In recent years she has developed research in the areas of psychological assessment and psychopathology in preschoolers, psychotherapeutic monitoring, and social engagement of young people.

She is a Nurse (1980) specialised in Paediatric Nursing (1987), Master in Nursing Sciences (1994) and PhD in Contemporary Philosophy (2003) with a thesis on Vulnerability and Respect in Caring for Others. She was a professor at the Nursing School of the Immaculate Conception for 25 years and moved to the Catholic University with the integration of that school. She is currently an associate professor at the Institute of Health Science of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP), and since 2005 she coordinates the PhD programme in Nursing at UCP. She was a member of the Installing Committee of the Order of Nurses and chaired the National Jurisdictional Council from 1999-2003. Her research focuses on vulnerable populations and for over 30 years she has been dedicated to the study of ethics, the promotion of humanisation and the defence of dignity in health care, defending fair care for all.

Professor of Linguistics at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Catholic University of Portugal (Braga Regional Centre). His research focuses on lexical semantics, grammar and conceptualisation, linguistic variation and change from the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics, adopting an empirical, usage-based approach. He also develops studies on metaphor, ideology and media discourses. He is the author of more than a hundred articles and several books on cognitive semantics, polysemy, grammar of constructions, causality, linguistic pluricentrism and national varieties of Portuguese, semantic change and relations between language, cognition and society.
Her book "The World of Meanings in Portuguese: Polysemy, Semantics and Cognition" (Almedina, 2006) won the International Linguistics Prize of the Portuguese Language Society. More recently, she edited the books "Pluricentricity: Language Variation and Sociocognitive Dimensions" (Berlin, De Gruyter, 2014) and "Figurative Language: Intersubjectivity and Usage" (Amsterdam, John Benjamins, 2021). She coordinates two research projects comparing European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese: CONDIV - lexical and grammatical convergence and divergence (funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology) and cultural conceptualisation of emotions (funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation).
He is a member of the scientific committee of several national and international journals, as well as of the Societas Linguistica Europaea and the International Association for Cognitive Linguistics. He has carried out consultancy and training through a leading company in the area of Project Management, PMO Projects, having a Certificate of Pedagogical Competences (CCP) issued by the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP). Member of several professional associations, including the Order of Engineers, the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the European Association for Computer Graphics (Eurographics), he holds NATO-Secret and EU-Secret security certifications. He has participated and published in several international scientific events, having also published several book chapters and a book. He has organised several international scientific events, the most recent being the International Conference on Digital and Interactive Arts (ARTECH 2019).

Maria Isabel Pereira Varanda is a Professor at the Catholic University in Braga and chairs the Solidarity Centre/Project Man (Braga). She initially graduated in Nursing in 1985, but then decided to study Theology and completed her PhD in Dogmatic Theology at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) in 1999. Besides teaching at the UCP in Braga, he collaborates with the University of Minho, the Compostelan Theological Institute (Spain) and the Institute of Bioethics of the UCP (Porto and Lisbon).
