More than 20 students, lecturers and staff represent Católica at European university cooperation event in Kaunas, Lithuania

From 20 to 24 October, a delegation of more than 20 members of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, led by Vice-Rector Peter Hanenberg, are participating in the T4EU Week at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Under the topic “TransformEd: Renaissance of Liberal Arts”, os estudantes António Maria Guedes e Rosa Garoupa e Rita Miguel Lapa Esteves de Prego, from the Lisbon School - Faculty of Law at Católica, Miguel-Ângelo Martins Machado, from the Institute for Political Studies and Maria Miguel Santos Gaspar, from Católica Medical School, will attend various courses such as Critical Heritage and Biodiversity Conservation, and participate in immersive cultural activities.

At the same time, staff from various areas represent the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in working groups on communication, library management and open science, and international exchange and mobility.

Highlights of this week include the signing of the legal entity of the Transform4Europe alliance, attended by Vice-Rector Peter Hanenberg, the appointment of Mahsa Farrokhi, a student at Católica, as representative of the Student Council on the Steering Committee, and the signing of memoranda of understanding with global partners within the scope of the Global Partnership Forum.
