Católica integrates National Oncology Resource Guide with chapter on Oral Health

On 1 July, the Health Information Group of the National Cancer Hub Portugal launched the second edition of the Resource Guide for People with Cancer and their Carers. The aim is to support those living with cancer in their daily lives by providing a practical, accessible and credible source of information.

The project was developed by a multidisciplinary team, including patients, carers and patient associations, in partnership with the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB) and the National Programme for Oncological Diseases of the Directorate-General for Health (PNDO/DGS).

Among the new chapters included in this edition is “Oral Health”, with the participation of Raquel Silva, from the Faculty of Dental Medicine and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Health Research at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
