Master's

The master's degree (2nd cycle) has a normal duration of three or four semesters and grants between 90 and 120 ECTS credits. This cycle of studies requires the attendance of curricular units, the preparation and public defense of an original thesis, the completion of an internship or a project, and the preparation and defense of the respective reports in the case of vocational or job oriented masters.

The Law Degree was the opportunity for the teaching of Law in public universities to leave the critical moment in which it was in Portugal in 1976. 13 years after the creation of the degree program, the Faculty of Law was founded which, anticipating the signal of time and following the needs and demands of society, is constantly evolving, both in terms of the programs offered and in terms of the teaching methods.
